4. Collar is also rechargeable with a C charger. No more buying those round batteries that have a short battery life.

6. Can see how many feet away from the base your dog is. Updates real time as dog is walking around!

This is such a great wireless dog fence and it's so easy to use. I love that it goes with me everywhere, just bring the box and collar and it can be used anywhere, this system is a game changer for anyone who has a dog that needs some freedom but also needs boundaries. This has been a great solution for us for both safety and peace of mind!

I purchased this a after trying a Halo collar, which had a myriad of issues (see my Halo review for details). I have a 1/4 acre lot in town, and RV often. It works great at the house, it is a game changer if you camp with your dog. It only took three days to train my 6 month German Shepherd. It takes minutes to set up. Just place the unit and walk the area with the collar to test the fence boundaries. Not only did it contain the dog at my campsite, but I also travel with a cat that the dog constantly harrasses. The cat can be outside and out of the fence area, and the dog will not cross it to get her or any other critters. When I left camp for the day, I used the barrier function to keep the dog out of the RV bedroom. For the first time ever, I returned and didn't find the inside a mess from them battling and the cat was stress free. It will not go through multiple walls in a home, so you need to place it in a window. I put it in the center of the yard. This works great.

This is our first dog fence to try on our medium size mix breed who is exceptionally young and hard at listening. I decided to try out this one because it had all the features we needed plus it was on deal. I love how this device can be used indoors or outdoors for easy convenient functionality. The remote control is the best thing, allowing me to add up to 3 dogs on the remote. We can definitely use that feature in the future but it works great for our one dog for now. I can choose vibration mode or shock and select the distance. after testing it out I find it quick and easy for me to set and use. Plus our dog is already collared trained so the fact it will teach him to stay in one area is fantastic.

My experiences with the first training period, on the other hand, have not been very positive. In order for my dog to comprehend and obey the limits, it took me a longer period of time than I had anticipated, which required me to be patient and provide regular reinforcement. Once my dog had become acclimated to the system, the confinement functioned without any problems, despite the fact that there was an initial glitch. The overall good influence that the fence has had on our daily routine has not been overshadowed by this very little problem or obstacle.

This device is good for training to your dog to stay in a certain area. The nice thing is that you can take this on the go if needed. The main unit is battery powered. It does not drain too much and it already sync to the collar so you do not have to worry about it needing to be connected. It is pretty easy to setup. One thing I will note is that the battery dying on the main console will not cause the collar to be on a constant shock so be aware of that. The collar is secure and there are no prongs pushing into the neck so it is not uncomfortable or anything like that. You can adjust the collar accordingly. The collar itself is somewhat thick but not extremely heavy. I would not say this works for smaller dogs as the weight might be too much. The setup process is not too difficult. You can set the distance and such. I have had no issues with this device going off. The collar itself is water resistant so it will not be damaged from minor water. The collar is durable where the dog can scratch at it but the material will show scratch marks on it. Both devices are rechargable and last for quite sometime. The home base unit can last for a long period without being charged. It does not drain much power. The device is relatively accurate in terms of distance. The fence is pretty accurate but I am able to let my Shiba off the leash now where I do not have to worry about her running off. The price of this is a bit high but I do like that I am able to take this on the go. The battery life is strong. The devices are both durable and I am pretty happy with how the device works. It is not a terrible shock but a good training tool. It is very easy to setup and accurate in terms of distance. The only thing is that this is a pretty pricy device.
